1: To find the year of your EZGO golf cart, look at the manufacturer's code.
The model year of your EZ-GO golf cart is indicated by the final two digits of the manufacturer's code (the first two digits if manufactured between 1976 and 1978).
2: To identify the model of your EZ-GO golf cart, find the manufacturer's code.
You can usually tell which EZGO model you have by where your manufacturer's code is located (e.g., TXT, RXV, Marathon, etc.).
- E-Z-GO RXV (2008 & up) - On the rear passenger side frame
- E-Z-GO TXT (1996 & up) - Inside the passenger side glove box
- E-Z-GO Medalist (1994-1995) - Inside the passenger side glove box
- Marathon (1976-1993) - Under the passenger side glove box
- Pre-Marathon (1965-1975) - Under the driver side seat on the frame
On the side of several of the more recent EZ-GO golf carts, you'll see the letters "TXT", "Freedom TXT", "RXV", or "Freedom RXV".

- You own a 1992 EZ-GO Marathon if the last two serial digits in your EZ-GO manufacturer's code are "92".
